About Maca Root Powder
Maca has been used for centuries by indigenous Andean communities as a source of healing and sustenance, but only recently has it begun to gain popularity in Western diets. It is an herbaceous plant native to the Andean mountains of Peru and Bolivia and it’s one of the only known edible plants in the world to grow at such high altitudes.

Evidence has been found that maca cultivation goes as far back as 1600 B.C. and it remains a staple in the diet of the Quechua Indians of Peru.

How to Consume
